We keep figured varieties standing or in small stacks, so you look through our selection quickly and get a good look at every board before. Come pick through the stacks as long as you like.
Thick and Wide Boards
When we advertise a price for a particular species, that’s the price you pay, whether the board is 4 or 24 inches wide, and whether it comes in 8-, 12-, or 16-quarter thickness. At WOODWORKS, the price is the price.
Live Edge Slabs
We carry live edge slabs! — Green and dried, rough or with one dressed side — in a range of domestic species, from cherry, walnut, and ash to oak and several maple varieties.
Calculating Board Feet
When calculating board feet, we’ll always round down to the half-inch (for width) and half-foot (for length). If a board has defects, we exclude any unusable portion when calculating the price. Whether you’re buying a single board or 1000 board feet, you’ll never pay for lumber you can’t use.
